What makes a good media logo

Symbols with presence

Media brands can be louder than most. The library offers shutter-d and picture-frame for photo and film, sound-wave and g-soundwaves for audio and podcasts, globe-network and globe-grid for broadcast reach, and star-burst or eagle-star when a brand wants a bold, banner-worthy mark. Media playback marks work too when the brand is explicitly about video or audio.

Type that commands the frame

This is where display type shines. The engine reaches for heavy, expressive faces — Archivo Black, Unbounded, Syne and Bebas Neue — that hold a title card or a channel avatar. A two-letter monogram in a bold display face reads instantly on a thumbnail. Palettes can push further than in other sectors: high-contrast tomato, orchid and citrus give a media brand the punch it needs to stand out in a feed.

Media logo FAQ

Is this good for a podcast or a YouTube channel?
Yes. A monogram or icon-top layout in a bold display face crops cleanly to a round or square avatar, and sound-wave symbols suit audio brands. The $29 package includes a favicon and square-friendly versions for channel art.
Can I make a mark that reads on a dark thumbnail?
Yes. Many media recipes use dark backgrounds with a bright accent, and the package includes black-and-white and transparent versions so the mark holds up over video stills and busy thumbnails.
Can I get a logo bold enough for a title card?
The display typefaces in the library are built for exactly that — heavy weight, tight spacing, strong presence at large sizes — while still staying legible when shrunk to a favicon.
