Drawn by a studio, not guessed by a model

Many generators either hand your name to an image model or reshuffle the same stock icon packs everyone else can buy. This one assembles artwork we drew ourselves, using rules a designer wrote.

262 symbols, drawn by hand

Every mark in the generator was drawn in our studio: 262 symbols across 20 families — tech, finance, food, travel, real estate, beauty, animals, abstract and more. It is a finite, deliberate set rather than an infinite one, and that cuts both ways: there is no symbol here for every niche on earth, but nothing in it is clip-art and nothing arrives with the soft, half-melted edges an image model tends to produce.

35 typefaces, seven of them ours

The type comes from 28 open-licensed families plus seven commercial faces we designed ourselves — AeroBlend, Brandogram, Cabo Rounded, Cabo Slab, Cabo Soft, Coastly and Headache PRO — so your wordmark need not be set in the same free font as everything else in your feed. On top of those sit 72 curated name-and-tagline pairings and 30 palettes, chosen rather than randomised.

Vector from the first pixel

The engine draws SVG directly in your browser — nothing is a raster image auto-traced into vector afterwards, which is why the curves stay clean at any size. Spacing, optical balance and contrast follow fixed rules, so the same recipe always renders the identical logo. The delivered SVG has its text converted to outlines, so it opens correctly at a sign shop or a printer without chasing font files.

$29 once, and it is yours

One payment for the full file package for that logo. No subscription, no monthly plan to remember to cancel, no account to create, and no watermark on what you download. The files are yours to use commercially — site, product, packaging, signage, print. Previewing is free, so you can be sure it is the right logo before you spend anything.

Frequently asked questions

What file formats do I get?

The $29 package includes a vector SVG (with the text converted to outlines), high-resolution PNG exports, black & white single-colour versions of the mark, and a favicon. The free tier gives you a watermarked PNG.

Do I own the logo? Can I use it commercially?

Yes. Once you buy the package the files are yours to use for your business — site, product, packaging, social, print. The delivered artwork is royalty-free for your brand. Note that a generated mark is not a guarantee of trademark availability, so check your name and mark are clear to use in your market.

What's your refund policy?

If your files are unusable — they won't open, they're broken, or they don't match the logo you designed — email us within 14 days and we'll fix them or refund you. Because they're digital goods you keep, we can't refund a simple change of heart once working files have been delivered. See the Terms for details.

Do I need an account?

No. The generator runs in your browser and you can buy the package without creating an account. When you purchase, we only ask for an email address so we can send your download link.

Can I edit my logo later?

Yes — keep tweaking fonts, colours, symbols and layout right up until you download. And because the clean files include an editable vector SVG, you can refine the artwork later in any vector tool.

Is a favicon included?

Yes. Every $29 package includes a favicon generated from your mark, so you're ready for the browser tab as well as the website.

How long do the download links last?

Files are prepared right after payment and shown on the thank-you page, with a copy of the link emailed to you. Download links expire after 7 days, so save your files somewhere safe.

Are the symbols original artwork, or stock icons?

Original. Every symbol in the library — 262 of them, across 20 families — was drawn in-house by Design a Lot SRL for this generator. Nothing is a stock icon pack or clip-art pulled off the web, which is why you will not find the same marks in other logo makers.

Is the logo AI-generated?

No. There is no image model involved at any point. The engine assembles a logo from our own drawn symbols, a fixed set of typefaces, palettes and layouts, and rules for spacing and optical balance. That is the trade-off: you get fewer wild surprises, and in return the output is clean vector geometry rather than an approximation of one.

Is there a subscription, or will I be charged again?

No subscription. $29 is a single charge for the file package for that logo, and there is nothing recurring to cancel. Generating and previewing concepts costs nothing at all — you only pay when you want the clean files for a logo you have settled on.

Could another business end up with the same symbol?

Possibly, and we would rather say so. The symbol library is finite, so the same mark can appear in more than one logo. What makes yours yours is the whole recipe — your name, the typeface and weight, the palette, the layout and the spacing — and we do not sell exclusive rights to a symbol. If exclusivity matters to your brand, a custom logo from a studio is the right route, ours included.

Can I use my own font or upload my own symbol?

Not in the generator — it works from its built-in library of 35 typefaces and 262 symbols, which is what keeps the rendering and the licensing predictable. Once you have the $29 package, though, the SVG is a normal editable vector file: swap artwork or set the name in a licensed font of your own in any vector tool.

Who makes this?

Logos for Startups is built by Design a Lot SRL, the studio behind designalot.net. The symbol library and typefaces come from the studio's own design work.
